MedPAN is organising its next Regional experience sharing Workshop from 25 to 27 October 2022 in Montenegro and online.

The Workshop will be preceded on 24 October by the MedPAN Annual General Assembly, and followed on 28 October by a series of side meetings, including the Inception workshop of the GEF project “Build Back a Blue and Stronger Mediterranean”.

This year’s MedPAN Regional experience-sharing Workshop focuses on MPA management effectiveness. The overall purpose of the Workshop is to allow MPA managers and stakeholders to pool and share information, expertise and experiences and take stock of best practices and approaches to enhance and assess MPA performance, in order to achieve conservation outcomes. The workshop will be held over three full days as a hybrid face-to-face and online event, with an opening and closing plenary session, a series of discussion sessions scheduled in parallel, and a field trip.

Find more information about the workshop and other events, how to pre-register by Sunday 24 July 2022 at the latest, and submit a contribution proposal if you wish to share your experience.

Pre-registered participants will be contacted again when registration opens in August to confirm their attendance. If you submit a proposal for a contribution we will also inform you of the results of the selection over the summer.

We hope to see you in Montenegro or online for this upcoming MedPAN Regional experience-sharing Workshop on MPA management effectiveness.
