The Pelagos Initiative is organising a webinar on 19 May from 3 to 4pm CET to present the themes of the Initiative’s next call for projects, in line with the new management plan of the Pelagos Agreement, and its modalities. The aim of this webinar is also to bring together all types of actors (NGOs, scientists, MPA managers, private actors…) working in the Pelagos Sanctuary and beyond in order to foster joint and transboundary actions.
The Pelagos Sanctuary is an area rich in biodiversity with a high level of protection at stake and civil society wishes to rally to support conservation actions in the Sanctuary. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (PAMF2), WWF, IUCN and MedPAN have decided to coordinate their efforts by creating the Pelagos Initiative. Its launch in 2021 was marked by a first call for projects and the funding of several projects.
The webinar will be translated into French, English and Italian.
Registration to the webinar – Deadline for registrations: 13 May
