Co-management is a collaborative and participatory management process in which government shares power and regulatory decision-making with resource users, each with specific information and decision-making rights and responsibilities.

In the framework of the COGITO project, MedPAN and its partners, Conservatoire du Littoral, PIM Initiative, WWF, and the MedFund produced a video explaining co-management. This video was supported by The French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM).

In this video, Jazzishuda, a small Mediterranean island, recalls in 2040 how its inhabitants managed to come together to create a system to ensure its sustainability.

Video is available in English, French and Arabic. Subtitles in English, French, Arabic and Spanish are also available.
