The first Blue Panda Lab is a virtual event hosted by WWF Greece and will give the floor to seven engaging speakers from different fields who will search for the ingredients of the day after, and especially the coexistence of people and nature in a Marine Protected Area. The case study of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, Greece will be the starting point for a Mediterranean-wide reflection.
The event is linked with the trip of the Blue Panda, WWF’s sailing boat, in six Marine Protected Areas of the Mediterranean and its relevant stop to Zakynthos, aiming to raise awareness among citizens and stakeholders, highlighting the MPA’s role for biodiversity, local communities and other activities in the area.
The event will be held in English and will happen on 24 July from 10:30 – 13:30 (EEST). You can register here.
